Hey,

Newbie here, help please, I'm looking to get a vaporizer. I found this site smokazon.com, any thought/s about their pretty cool gadgets?

Thank you!

I am only going to comment in regards to portable vaporizers for concentrates.

The magic flight launch box and the volcano, well, I am not going to comment on those, I am not in to vaporizing buds and really have no opinion of them.

When I look at the Divinci and the cost of $200, I just cannot fathom where the cost of that unit can be justified. I can't even picture it being any better than using the items I will mention below. I highly doubt it is as good as a basic VV pen with a KISS cart. Also, I have not tried the Atmos or Cloud, the cost baffles me.

I can however vouch for the Eclipse Vape for non-decarbed oils and waxes, etc. It is a fair price. Mine came in a very nice padded case too. I got mine direct from the manufacturer for about the same price. The Eclipse is really cool. It works, but I would take the Magneto with a KISS cart over that any day.

The store you mention is your typical average mj products supplier. Most of the normal mj products are a straight up rip off in my opinion. At least in most situations. They don't appear to offer any products that would accommodate e-cannabis. Their G-Pen kit, well I wouldn't pay $5 for it.

Really, it depends on what you want to vaporize. If you are looking to vape buds, then the volcano would be what you want to use. If you are looking to vaporize concentrates, and you don't want to mess around with making e-cannabis oil, even though it is easy, I would recommend the following items:

Smoktech Magneto mechanical vape, a TrustFire model TR-001 battery charger, AW 18350 battery, AW 18650 protected 2600mAh battery, a 510 to 601 adapter (High Desert Vapes),and an UP Tech KISS cart 3.7 V for Persei (w(Tech). There is also a titanium KISS cart which offers a slower more mellow vape. The regular KISS cart is a 2 ohm unit which offers more heat if you desire to where you could even burn hash if you wanted. You could use it like a nail if you want or feather the button and get nice vapor hits. A nice padded eGo case from High Desert Vapes would be perfect to hold these items. For all of these items I just mentioned you are looking at an approximate cost of $130. You would then have a quality rig in your hands or in your nice eGo camo padded case. Throw in a itazte SVD by innoken kit for $89 from High Desert Vapes and you would have a superior set up for less than $250. I recommend the whole lot for a great variety of vaporizing. The SVD can do things the Magneto cannot and the Magneto can do things the SVD cannot. Each use the same batteries so that is a bonus. You could even throw in an eGo C Twist VV battery and still keep the cost under $250. Three completely different vape set ups that are interchangeable. With a simple adapter, you can operate different companies attachments better than the units they are intended for.

These units together can offer vaporizing hash, e-cannabis oil, shatter, wax, RSO, QWISO, etc. Top quality, you really get what you pay for. There are Persei kits that don't even come close to comparing that can cost $450 or more.

Really, I can't speak for the store. One of the main reasons I brag up High Desert Vapes is they purchase directly from the manufacturers. I know I am getting the real deal when I purchase from them.

For buds or table top vaporizers, the store you found might be a better alternative. I prefer to vape concentrates and infused e-cannabis oil over vaping buds.

For a cheap trial before investing a lot of money just a simple eGo C Twist 650 mAh for around $20 with a $5 usb battery charger is probably better than any pen vape that they offer since the eGo C Twist is Variable Voltage. That is only $25. You would need a $4 510 to 601 adapter (High Desert Vapes) and the UP Tech KISS cart for $20 (w9Tech). So for around $50 you would have a simple rig that blows the doors off a G-Pen. Heck, with the battery offering variable voltage, it is far better than any $450 Persei rig in my opinion.

Everybody has their own opinion and preference. I am just offering mine.

Throughout my blog I offer links to the products mentioned above and where to buy them.

Here is another example of the mj companies selling their low grade products for high price.

For example the Essential and Essential Mini. I can purchase the mini attachment for less than $10 US and it will thread directly into any of the vapes I have spoken of that I recommend. Such as the eGo C Twist 650 mAh VV battery that cost only $20. Now that is $30 for the battery and attachment. With the eGo C Twist battery you can operate the Essential or Essential Mini attachments far better than their batteries can. Yet, they want more $$ for their batteries. The non-adjustable pen batteries are junk in my opinion, and that is what they offer.

The attachment is low quality, but does work well. http://shop.essentialoiler.ca/

Well I have ran a couple of grams through the new titanium KISS, 3.7 volt for persei, with my Smoktech Magneto. I had to use the larger 18650 battery. I don't know how they managed it, but it is the first vaping device I have seen for straight oil that I would have to give it a thumbs up on the medicinal use of it. The titanium KISS is the best vaporizing device for straight concentrates that I have used so far. The original KISS, for $20, it is a really nice device. You can use all of the different size batteries with it, but it seems more recreational to me. Some people may prefer that because they can run it at a higher heat and get more of a vape burn or have the option to burn the material, but I am focused on the medicinal value/use of vaporizing. With the new titanium KISS with the Magneto and the 18650 battery is much different action, much less feathering of the power button. You can hold the button down more while taking a hit. You get a slower hit, like in slow motion. You have to hold the button down longer to get a full hit. It would be easier for somebody with lung issues. Very easy and mellow hits. Medicinally speaking, I like that fact. It doesn't easily burn the oil. You receive a more steady vape hit. I would almost have to say it is a gaseous hit similar to the e-cannabis using the iClear 30b clearomizer. Using the titanium KISS with the Magneto, I would also recommend having an eGo C Twist 650 mAh VV around so you can conveniently turn up the heat a little. The eGo C Twist VV only cost around $20. The titanium KISS works well on the eGo battery.

Vaping straight oil with the titanium KISS is a great alternative to vaping e-cannabis. This is the very first product for vaping straight oil that I have tried where I can say that. With good clean oil, it provides a very potent buzz, is very easy to use, and very easy on the lungs. Keep in mind, this is with good clean oil. I have mostly sampled RSO through it. It doesn't offer much taste, but it does offer a good gaseous effect. Now with QWISO I would suspect it to be more tasty, but I do not know yet. For some reason, RSO (decarbed concentrated cannabis oil) is more difficult to vape and get good taste where you can actually taste the strains used to make the oil. It must have something to do with the fact of the flavanoids being altered through the process of decarbing the oil. For some reason, when you convert the RSO to e-cannabis oil, this is not an issue. I can literally taste the strains I used to produce the oil as long I am using the right vaping devices.

The titanium KISS works great with the Magneto and a 18650 battery. It also works great with the SVD and VV pen vape, most any variable voltage vape.

I recommend this product. I get the KISS for the Persei 3.7V in chrome. http://www.w9tech.co...kiss-cartridge/

I recommend when using a digital vape to keep the power set low. With the titanium KISS, I like to get nice, slow, potent, comfortable hits. Basically, where I can get baked without coughing my brains out. You get accustomed to it and you got everything set right and use good clean oil, you can get baked all you want without coughing at all. I don't even exhale much visible vapor, and I prefer it that way.

I really like the titanium KISS on the mechanical rig. They just go together real nice. It is convenient just putting a dab on, like two or three rice grains. It will last a while, I may refill it once or twice depending on how my day is going.

I really like e-cannabis oil too. I get just as baked. I may have to take a few extra hits, but it is nice that you don't have to mess with refilling as often. In some cases once a week I refill my iClear 30 which can hold a couple grams of e-cannabis oil that is at least one gram of straight oil mixed with PG USP. It is great that with the e-cannabis oil that I get to enjoy the flavor of my RSO. Comparing the two it is a matter of personal preference or in my case, what mood I am in.
