Well I may be testing out a few more products. We may have a couple more years left. But it won't be the same. We may get lucky and we may be able to get the grandfather date changed to August 2016. The HR2058 will need to be supported to make it possible. The best thing we have in our favor is how crazy this is. No regulations on cigarettes which are known to kill, but mass regulations on e-ciggs. Let's be for real here. That is what we have going for us and it pissed off some congressmen. The best thing we can do is send letters to our local representatives, especially our senators, stating how e-cigs helped get you off tobacco. These e-ciggs have helped me as a caregiver to be able to provide a more medicinal product to my patients when it comes to medical marijuana. Especially people with lung issues. If you are into medical marijuana, we don't want to lose this one. It will be a major setback for our community.

What's Gigi going to do about this? Well I joined CASAA and will be an activist. I must admit, I really like my e-ciggs and my mj used in the same fashion. I have to also admit, I now prefer to sub ohm vape my e-ciggs. I have fallen in love with the way the Griffin hits. The way it mixes so much airflow, it is just different. It takes some time to get accustomed to it, but once you do, it will be preferred.

I am a person that plays it safe, and not always the best decisions. I have made sure I have at least 2 years worth of supplies. It cost me $500, but nicotine and VG, I have 5 years worth and I am guessing on the other stuff. Just don't have enough experience. I mix my own organic flavorings into my nic juice only using VG. I figure $500 more and I will for sure have 5 years worth of everything. I am playing it safe with extra batteries, 200' of coil building wire, and spare glass and gaskets for the tanks.

Due to the FDA BS, I am really glad I just started getting into building my own coils. It cuts the price nearly in half. A 5 year supply of everything is $1000 or less. That comes out to about $200 per year for my habit.

Here is where I bought my 100mg nic mixed with VG which I plan to store in the freezer.

Here is my favorite battery:
LG18650

Here are really inexpensive 30' spools of wire. I like working with the 24 gauge because it is thicker, but I use 26 and 28 gauge too
Kanthal Resistance Wire
Stainless
Clapton

The other tools I mentioned above will help you build your own coils. Of course flavorings will be a must along with organic cotton for the coils.

Flavorings may be more expensive at high desert vapes, but they are natural https://highdesertvapes.com/categories/DIY/DIY-Flavors/NF-Natural/ try out a few different flavors until you find something you like.

Much safer, just nicotine, VG, and natural flavorings. No more dangerous than caffeine.

Maybe we should wait a year before panicking, but I can't help it.

I love my vaping and just have to make sure I have at least a 2 year back up. I love all the vapes I have mentioned above, but the Griffin is my favorite, even when it comes to e-cannabis, I don't recommend it for e-cannabis though, because it can easily leak or have a problem if you don't do the wicks just right. To help eliminate most of the problems, I just don't fill it above the automizer, which is about a gram of oil. The more I use it, the less problems I have been having.

An important tip when it comes to the Griffin and other similar units. Use some of your VG, PG, or e-juice and lubricate all of the gaskets. This will help eliminate leaking and other problems.

Here is a little review on a new vaporizer. The Eleaf iStick Pico. I am really liking this device. It gives you the feeling it is smaller than the KangerTech subox nano, but it can handle tanks as large as 23mm. The nano is restricted to 18mm max. The pico is much shorter and is less tippy.

First impression, it is now my favorite vape. I am a fan of the single battery vapes.

In this photo, the iStick has a Griffin tank, which is taller than the kanger tanks shown. The iStick is pictured center.

You can get the iStick as a kit or just the mod. I just bought the mod. I can't speak for the tank if you purchase the kit. I have been leaning more toward tanks that have a RBA deck so I can rebuild my own coils.

Thank you for all the of great reviews and info! It seems like serious vapers like RBAs and RDAs for the flavor. I only vape ecannabis and haven't been adding flavoring lately, just winterized BHO and an equal amount of PEG. It just mixes so beautifully with oil. It's not as fun at PG or VG to vape though. PEG does offer bigger clouds than PG at least. I have to drink water between hits though as it's pretty harsh. I have two sub ohm tanks, several batteries, and a couple of years worth of coils. I should probably buy more if this hideous anti-American b.s. becomes law.

I thought I would review a couple of products I have tried lately.

The HorizonTech Sub Ohm Arctic Tank.
200 NIX HorizonTechArctic-2

I bought two of these tanks for one obvious reason. The price. At around $14 it was too good to pass up. It got decent reviews on YouTube so I tried it. I give this tank a 2/5 or D rating. My first tank had a strange feature I have not seen in other tanks and that is a hole in the glass so one can refill it without taking it apart. Good idea, but drilling a hole in a piece of glass is great way to start a crack. And crack it did.

Then I tried the normal tank that you see above. It comes with a 0.2 ohm and 0.5 ohm coil. Both work with ecannabis oil, but I prefer 0.5. The tank is very large, obviously to be used by chain vaping nicotine users. For my small batches of ecannbis juice (which is almost pure hash oil) it is less efficient. I only need one or two hits at a time so I don't need a full tank like this. One ml of juice barely makes a dent in this thing. It's just enough to cover the coil. Hash oil is expensive to make so I never feel too comfortable making a big batch of juice if its just going to leak out. And that has happened so many times with this tank that I have to store it wrapped in a paper towel. It hits nicely but I hate leaky tanks. I will not be recommending the Arctic to anyone.
