I agree with Grow Goddess that your best buds make the best oil. Strain preference is usually up to personal choice. I have made good oil out of both indicas and sativas. I use winterized BHO but QWET and QWISO work great as well.
Thanks to GG's suggestion I picked up a Griffin RTA. I love it. There was a slight learning curve in building my own coil but it's totally worth it. I've never experienced such smooth and flavor-filled hits.
I will also do a quick review of Aspire Nautilus Mini.
I like this tank because it's small (2ml) and cheap ($14). I've been using it for a few weeks and no leaks so far. It has small airflow holes and this coil doesn't like to burn any hotter than 7 watts or so, but it delivers the medicine effectively. 2ml sized tanks are great for ecannabis oil as I usually make it in small batches. 4 out of 5 stars.

Well, it has been almost a year since an update, so here it goes.
I have 2 favorite vapes going from 2017 into 2018. They are each opposite of each other and I think that is why they are my favorites.
First is the smaller, more convenient, less expensive, more efficient, easy to build and wick would be the 22mm GeekVapes Ammit paired up with the Eleaf IStick Pico. It is a single coil tank which offers a unique flavor. It is virtually leak proof too, as long as it is wicked properly. All around most convenient and inexpensive. I have tried cannabis oil in it. It was pretty good, but not my favorite. Don’t let the review videos scare you, you can run 100% VG in this tank as long as it is wicked properly.
Next would be the GeekVapes Zeus tank paired up with the Wismec Releux RX300 Gen 3 mod. The Zeus is a single coil tank, but tastes better than any dual coil I have tried. It is also leak proof as long as it is upright. I am not a fan of large vapes, let alone triple batteries and 25 mm tanks. This baby is really compact for the amount of power it has. The taste is unbeatable as well as the power. When it comes to cannabis oil, whether it is ecannabis or potentially straight cannabis oil as long as it is loaded with terpenes. This is one of the best set ups I have tried. I consider this the best medicinal device so far when it comes to cannabis oil and flavor considering ecigarettes.
Pictured left is the IStick Pico with the AMMIT tank, right is the RX200 with the Zeus tank. I prefer the more compact RX300 pictured below with the cannabis oil
The batteries on RX300 load in through the bottom unlike the RX200 which load in from a cover in the back. The tank has 95% QWISO, some PG USP for wetting the wick, then it was topped off with some RSO after a few vapes. It was very intense and the buzz even lasted into the next day.
 
Next I would like to talk about the battery charger. Don’t waste your money on the cheap 2-battery models. Invest a little more and get one of these, the Intellicharger I4. This model can charge many different battery sizes and types. I found mine at Amazon.com. Best charger I have used yet. I set it at 3.7 volts and it has been working flawlessly. It even comes with a cigarette/accessory adapter.

The last experiment with the Zeus went very well. Using about 5% PG/USP with the concentrate. By the time I was done vaping it, I would say it got to be pretty much pure concentrate.
I really want to dilute my concentrate with something other than PG/USP. I would prefer VG, but at the very least, I will need to invest in a homoganizer. The only problem with that is I only want to make at most 5 grams at one time. I will have to look into that.
