This is a special blend of different PEGs which gets rid of the plastic taste yet still blends very well with hash oil. Unfortunately it still has a harsh throat hit like regular PEG 400. Still, it's step up and is my normal mixing agent for ecigs now. I paid $18 for a 50 ml bottle. It is more expensive than plain PEG or PG but I find that it's worth it. This bottle will last me for years.

4/5 or a B rating.

In many cases I feel the same with all e-cigg vapes. What I love about the Griffin is it does it all. 1 mL fills it more than half even though it holds 3 or 4 mL due to the casing to the automizer is so large. I don't like using more than 1 or 2 mL at a time when using cannabis oil.

With the Griffin it is only a matter of mastering the coil building and especially the wicking. Start with e-cigg juice then graduate to cannabis oil. When I use e-cigg juice I fill the tank all the way, but with cannabis oil, I use 1 to 2 mL only.

I really appreciate your review on the Arctic, I was curious about it and fully trust your opinion.

Well, it is now 2017 and getting closer to the vaporizer ban. I have about 10 years worth of VG/Nic mix. I still need to get more flavoring (natural), and of course more vaporizers because I don't expect them to last 10 years.

Get your favorite vapes while you can as they may not be available for much longer. This is not just for e-cig vaporizers, this applies to the mj vaporizers as well. I do have high hopes this new law is revoked, but better to be safe than sorry.

My preference is the iStick Pico with the 22mm Geek Vapes Griffin tank. I plan on getting many more rebuild kits for the Griffin.

Hi gg, it's been a while since we connected. Hope you're doing well. Also, glad to see your still hacking away with the vaporizers, et al! LOL!

I was a little taken back by your comment about a "vaporizer ban." Would you explain this please? Given the new MI laws that went into effect on the 20th legalizing extracts, edibles, etc., I'm guessing the "ban" you mention is at the Fed. level?

I'd also like to ask a couple of questions, if you don't mind, regarding RSO, QWISO, etc.

In one of your recent postings (which I can't locate now), you mentioned that ISO solvent extractions (QWISO?) is now your favorite method for making oil. Even more so than using 200 proof ethanol? Did I understand this correctly? What is your rationale for this?

I'm interested in this as I have been approached by a potential new patient who has cancer, accompanied with severe pain. I've not made any new "oils" in over a year, so as I move forward I'd like to find the best, and hopefully, easiest method.

I continue to experiment with "butters" and tinctures for personal use, but I'm not satisfied with the quality, effects, etc. For my own needs, I'm ready to oils again.

Along with this, I'm looking for a strain recommendation that produces a good oil. Suggestions?

Hope things are going well for you and that you have a wonderful new year!

Yes, the FDA wants to ban all electronic cigarette vaporizers that were produced after 2007 I believe. Too attractive to children and all. Here is a little snippet from the FDAhttp://www.fda.gov/T...s/ucm456610.htmYes, this is directed at e-cigarettes, but many use the same devices for vaping cannabis.

Yes, 99% iso is my favorite because it is easier to produce a quality product. The downside is the 99% iso can be more dangerous when it comes to inhaling the fumes and also the potential to not purge it all out. In reality, 200 proof ethyl is not any more safe. My favorite thing about the ethyl is that it was less fumy than the iso, which made it more safe to work with. Iso is affordable and it makes a really nice looking oil. The only time it is really difficult to work with is when making very large quantities, but that can be managed with extra preparations

First, RSO is what your cancer patient will need. I recommend using 99% iso to make it.
Next, as for strains, I have only worked with a few so am probably not the best person to ask. My two favorite that I have worked with are TGA Querkle and Dutch Passion Strawberry Cough. They work well with most solvents. All in all, qurekle is the best for me. Of course, Rick Simpson touts about White Widow, but I cannot vouch for it, I have never used it. I will say this, the more potent the strain, the better for making oil.

Hope things are going well for you and that you have a wonderful new year!

I did my best to answer your questions, they are in bold type above. I wish you much luck in your endeavors!! Please keep me posted.

I too hope things are going well for you and wish you a wonderful new year too!
